I’m not a gym rat or a health nut (I love any form of baked goods and craft beers a little too much) but I do believe some regular exercise will not only make you look better but feel better overall. One of my favorite ways to exercise is by performing yoga. Not only do I think the stretching is almost euphoric in feeling but I love how it tones all the right places all over your body.
Yoga Pose of the week:
After being on your feet all day this pose is fantastic for an allover back, shoulder, calve and hamstring stretch. Consistently performing this pose helps to relieve back pain, headaches and fight fatigue.
If you are a beginner, taking a yoga class at your local studio or gym will help you to learn how to perform the pose correctly and safely. And wear something fitted, so your instructor can make sure everything is lining up correctly and can accurately see your pose.
